the first one somehow makes me think of how it would look if it were a shirt (got a uncle who would love that) or a print dress (I would so buy it!!)…or Egads! A sweater! (any takers?) =P
the second one somehow evokes plant life….
I find fabric patterns fascinating sometimes. The amazing art we wear around and that mostly is ignored…

Very cool! I still love the gold and silver one. The muted colors make this one seem different from your others somehow. Love the checkered look of the first one too. 🙂
Thanks! Yeah these are both different for me. But then what isn’t? 🙂 “Departures” lets say. With the silver one… it’s my second real adventure with texture and the first time I’ve painted on such a shiny background — these seem to combine to change everything. 🙂 And I guess the colors are muted, so far!
